Tour Plan
When you arrive in Srinagar, a warm welcome by our representative will greet you. You will then be accompanied to your hotel or a beautiful houseboat. After you check-in and freshen up, you can begin the tour of the city. You can begin by taking a walk around the scenic Boulevard Road that gives you a view of Dal Lake. You can also witness the beauty of the picturesque Zabarwan Mountain Range from this road. Once you finish your walk you can take a 2-hour Shikara ride in Dal Lake and relax. The beauty of the mountains surrounding you and the carpet of lotus flowers over the lake will mesmerize you. Post this tiring day you can make your way to the houseboat or hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
After a healthy breakfast at the hotel, you will be heading out for an excursion to Sonamarg. Sonamarg is the “meadow of gold”, situated 85kms from Srinagar. It is home to many peaks, Kolhoi Peak, Amarnath Peak and Sirbal Peak. The drive to Sonamarg from Srinagar is a beautiful road, surrounded by the majestic Himalayan peaks. In Sonamarg you will first visit Vishansar Lake. This lake during the winter freezes up and during the summer season, boasts of lush greenery and a flock of sheep that come there for grazing. You could enjoy some trekking at the lake. After being awestruck by the beauty of Vishansar Lake you will head towards Zoji La Pass. This pass is known for its road that is covered in a layer of snow. History says, that this pass was captured by Pakistan in a war and later re-captured by our brave army men. You must visit this pass for its beauty. Next up on your list for the day is the White River Rafting at Shutkari Bridge. This river rafting expedition starts from Baltal to Shutkari Bridge that will help you quench your adrenaline. It is said to be one of the best experiences one must not miss out on when in Sonamarg. To end your day, you will be escorted to your hotel or houseboat for a delicious dinner and a night stay.
Make sure your luggage is all packed and you have an early breakfast today. You will be travelling to Pahalgam by road. Upon your arrival to Pahalgam and have completed your check-in process you can head out to take the tour of the city. The first destination planned for your tour today is the Betaab Valley. This valley has been made popular by Bollywood because many films have been shot at this valley. It is a place that will offer you peace and take you away from your stressful city life. Don’t forget to take a horse ride in this valley. Next up on your list is Sheshnag Lake. Here you can relax in the beautiful view of the lake and soothe yourself with the sound of silence. It is the most beautiful spot for a family picnic. With this, it is time to make your way back to the hotel and catch up on some good night’s sleep.
After today’s breakfast, get ready for an enthralling drive to the rocky valley of Chandanwari. You can enjoy a thrilling pony ride at its snow point and spend some quality time with your loved ones. Your next stop will be at the Golf Course of Pahalgam. You can take a quiet walk there and appreciate the beauty of the place. You could also take up some golf lessons if you wish to. Before the evening sets in, visit Tulian Lake and be delighted by the beautiful sunset there. By the night, return to the hotel and enjoy your dinner; overnight stay will be in the hotel.
Today you will be heading towards Gulmarg. Once you have arrived and checked in to your hotel you can leave to explore the beauty of the valley. To kick start your adventure you will take a ride of the Gulmarg Gondola. It is the second-longest and highest cable car in the world. It rides from Gulmarg Resort to Kongdoori Station. Also, connects Kongdoori Mountain to Apharwat Peak. Keep your cameras ready to click some beautiful pictures on your ride. Your next adventure in Gulmarg will be skiing. The terrain is ideal for both amateur and professional skiers. After this tiring day, you can head back to your hotel and savour the delicious dinner and take some rest.
This will be your last day on the tour. So, you must keep your luggage packed because you will be checking out of the hotel and drive back to Srinagar. Once you arrive in Srinagar, our representative will drop you at the airport or railway station. This will be your journey back home.
