Delhi City Tour
This morning after breakfast you will proceed for the Delhi sightseeing tour. Today you will visit Jama Masjid-the country’s largest mosque, visit Chandni Chowk and spice market & enjoy Rickshaw Ride in Chandni chowk, then visit the elegant but imposing Red Fort, Raj Ghat-a memorial to Mahatma Gandhi, Humayun’s tomb-Delhi’s finest example of Mughal architecture, the famous Lotus Temple of the Baha’i faith, the medieval workmanship of Qutub Minar, The Parliament House, The President House and India Gate. Rest of the day is free at your leisure. Overnight at the hotel in Delhi.
This morning after breakfast you will be transferred to Mughal city Agra. Agra is a major tourist destination in North India because of its many Mughal-era buildings, most notably the Taj Mahal, Agra Fort and Fatehpur Sikri, all these three are UNESCO World Heritage Sites. On arrival check in to your hotel. After fresh n up you will visit the famous Taj Mahal-the symbol of love, built by Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal. (Taj Mahal Remains Closed on Every Friday) Later, visit the Agra fort, built by the great Emperor Akbar and the tomb of Etimad-ud-Daula often described as Jewel Box or the Baby Taj and is regarded as a draft of the Taj Mahal. This early morning at sunrise you can visit the Taj Mahal-again (Optional visit). After visiting the Taj Mahal, return back to your hotel for fresh n up and breakfast. After breakfast you will be transferred to Pink City Jaipur, en route you will visit Fatehpur Sikri, the deserted red sandstone city built by the Mughal Emperor Akbar and the Chand Baori, a stepwell situated in the Abhaneri village on the way to Jaipur. Chand Baori consists of 3,500 narrow steps over 13 stories. It extends approximately 30 m (100 ft) into the ground making it one of the deepest and largest stepwells in India. This morning after breakfast you will visit the Amber fort nestling among Aravalli Hills built in 16th century by Raja Man Singh, enjoy an optional elephant ride at Amber fort subject to additional charges, then visit Jal Mahal (Water Palace) & Hawa Mahal-a Palace of winds- it is the Jaipur’s most famous monument. In the afternoon you will visit the City Palace and Museum, City Palace-conceived and designed by Jai Singh is a fine blend of Rajasthani and Mughal architecture and is one of the most important architectural landmarks in Jaipur. Walk to the adjacent Jantar Mantar, an astronomical observatory. Rest of the day is free at your leisure for rest or shopping. You can visit the local markets for some window shopping. Jaipur is the most famous marketplace for Handicrafts and Gold & Diamond Jewellery. Overnight at the hotel in Jaipur.
This morning after breakfast you can visit the Birla Temple & the famous Monkey Temple (Galta Ji). Later, you will be transferred back to Delhi International airport for your onward journey.
